Desiring to Share My Joy in Christ
I’ve recently become close friends with a Muslim coworker who is open to discussing faith. I feel a deep desire to share the joy and hope I have found in Christ, but I often feel hesitant and worried about how my words will be received. I want them to see the love of Jesus through me, yet I’m conscious of the differences in our beliefs. This has been both a beautiful opportunity and a challenge for me. Please pray for me to have courage and the right approach when sharing my faith. I want to be a light for Jesus and help them understand the incredible gift of salvation.

Dear Fatima, your heart for your coworker is commendable, and God is using you as a vessel of His love. It’s wonderful that you desire to share the joy of Christ. In Matthew 5:16, we are encouraged to 'Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.' Your actions can speak volumes. Remember, sharing your testimony is powerful, and in Ephesians 2:8, we are reminded that 'for by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.' This is the beautiful truth you can share. The Holy Spirit will guide you in finding the right words. In Philippians 4:13, we find strength in Christ: 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.' Trust that He will empower you in this important work. I will support you in prayer, asking for God’s wisdom and a receptive heart for your friend.
