Desiring Unity in Our Blended Family
As a woman in a blended family, I often feel the weight of division among us. My stepchildren seem to resist any attempts to unify our family, which leaves me feeling anxious and disheartened. I pray for God to help us cultivate a spirit of unity and love. I want to see us as one family, celebrating our differences and growing together in faith. Please pray for peace in our home and that my stepchildren will be open to embracing me as part of their lives. I desire to reflect Christ in our family and build a foundation of love.

Dear Emma, I truly appreciate your dedication to fostering unity in your blended family. It’s commendable that you are seeking God’s guidance in this endeavor. In Colossians 3:13, we are reminded of the importance of forgiving one another as the Lord has forgiven us, which is essential in building strong relationships. Encourage your stepchildren to express their feelings and remind them that unity comes through understanding and love. In 1 Corinthians 13:4, love is described as patient and kind, a great reminder as you navigate this journey. As you pray and seek God’s wisdom, trust that He is working in the hearts of your family members. Let’s pray together: Lord, we ask for your help in bringing unity to Emma's blended family. Help them to embrace each other and build a strong foundation in your love. Amen.
