Desperate for a Safe Home Amidst Chaos
My name is Angela, and I’m writing to ask for prayer for my husband, who is struggling with addiction. Over the past year, it has escalated to a point where our home feels unsafe for our two young children. They hear arguments, see chaos, and it breaks my heart knowing they are growing up in this environment. I’ve tried to support him, but I also need to protect our kids. I feel so lost and overwhelmed. I want to love my husband and help him, but I need guidance on how to navigate this situation without putting our children at risk. Please pray for healing for my husband and safety for our family. I pray for strength to make the right decisions for the sake of my kids.

The Bible teaches us about the importance of love and protection within our families. In Romans 12:10, we are reminded to 'be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love.' It’s crucial to foster an environment of safety and love. While you support your husband, your first responsibility is to ensure your children are safe. As it says in Psalms 34:18, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' Trust that God is close to you in this difficult time. You are not alone in this, and God is your refuge and strength (Psalms 46:1). I will be praying for you to have the wisdom and courage to navigate this challenging situation while keeping your children safe. May God surround you with His peace and comfort as you seek help for your husband and protection for your family.
