Desperate for Guidance Amidst Teen Struggles
Heavenly Father, I come before You with a heavy heart. My teenage son, Jake, has been involved in dangerous behaviors lately. We’ve tried talking to him, but it seems like we are losing him to peer pressure and bad influences. As parents, we feel utterly helpless and unsure of how to reach him. Lord, please provide us with wisdom to guide him back to a safe and healthy path. I pray that You soften his heart and open his eyes to the dangers he is facing. I also seek courage and strength for myself and my spouse, as we navigate this tough time. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Dear friend, thank you for sharing your struggle with us. It is heart-wrenching when our children go astray, and I want you to know that you are not alone in this fight. Remember, 'Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it' (Proverbs 22:6). This doesn't mean they won't face difficulties, but your guidance will lay a foundation for them. Pray for Jake daily, asking God to protect him and lead him. Also, lean on each other for support, as 'Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour' (Ecclesiastes 4:9). I encourage you to keep the lines of communication open with him, sharing love even during this challenging time. Let’s pray together now: Lord, we lift up Jake to You, asking for Your divine intervention and peace in this family. Amen.
