Desperate for Peace in a Chaotic Family Setting
Family gatherings have become battlegrounds over political debates, and I feel like a stranger in my own home. My parents have always had differing views, but this year, it seems worse than ever. The arguments escalate quickly, and my kids are witnessing it all. As a believer, I want to show them how to respond with love and grace, but it’s hard to practice what I preach when I’m hurt and frustrated. I desire peace and understanding within our family, and I want to guide my children toward faith rather than fear. Please pray that I can be a peacemaker in these situations and that my family can find common ground despite our differences.

Remember the promise of Philippians 4:7, where the peace of God will guard your heart and mind. Seek opportunities to model kindness and grace, even when the atmosphere turns tense.
