Enduring Hardship in a Hostile Work Environment
Hello, I’m Aisha. I am reaching out as I am facing severe hardship at work due to racial discrimination from my manager. It’s been a constant source of stress for me, and I feel trapped in a hostile environment where I am undervalued. Some days, I dread going to work, and it’s affecting my mental health and my family life. I have tried to address the situation but have been met with resistance. I pray for strength and clarity to navigate this tough time and for a change of heart in my management. Please pray for me as I navigate this painful chapter of my life.

Dear Aisha, I hear your pain and want you to know you are not alone in this battle. The Lord walks beside you in your struggles, and He has a plan for you. It’s understandable that you feel overwhelmed, but I encourage you to cast your cares upon Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 says, 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' God’s heart is for justice, and you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. As you navigate this difficult time, remember that the Lord is your strength (Psalm 73:26). Pray for wisdom and guidance to help you respond to each situation with grace and truth. I will come alongside you in prayer, asking God to soften the hearts of those in authority and to provide you with peace and perseverance during this trial. Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
