Facing Doubts About My Mission Path
Hi, my name is Samuel. I've felt a calling to missions for a while now, but recent doubts have crept in. My family worries about my future, and their concerns echo in my mind. I sometimes wonder if I am hearing God's voice correctly or if I'm just chasing an ideal. What if I'm not equipped to take this on? I want to serve God, but I fear I might be stepping out of His will. Please pray for clarity and confidence in the direction I’m heading. I need a renewed sense of purpose and the courage to take this leap of faith.

Dear Samuel, thank you for sharing your feelings of doubt and concern. It’s perfectly natural to question your calling, especially when faced with obstacles. Remember that even the greatest leaders experienced doubt—think of Moses, who hesitated to accept his mission. In Romans 10:17, we learn that faith comes by hearing, and God often speaks through our prayers and circumstances. You can trust that God will provide you with the strength you need, as He assures us in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Lean into God, pray earnestly, and don’t hesitate to seek guidance from trusted mentors or pastors. Let’s pray: Lord, I ask that You grant Samuel clarity and renewed strength as he pursues Your calling. Amen.
