Facing Doubts About Sharing Faith with My Friend
My friend Carla lives in the Philippines, and recently, she has opened up about her struggles with anxiety and uncertainty about her purpose in life. I’ve been feeling a strong urge to share my faith with her, but I find myself hesitating because I fear she might reject it. I know that salvation is freely available to all, as it says in Romans 6:23, but I just don’t know how to approach the topic. My heart wants nothing more than for her to know the peace and joy that comes from a relationship with Jesus. I'm praying for the courage to speak up and for the right moment to share the Gospel with her. Please pray that God will take away my fear and replace it with boldness and wisdom.

Dear Liam, thank you for sharing your heart for Carla. It's evident that you genuinely care about her well-being and desire for her to experience the love of Christ. Doubts are a natural part of our lives, especially when it comes to sharing our faith. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The Gospel is a powerful message, and when you present it with love, God will work through you. Romans 10:9 reminds us that if we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts, we shall be saved. This is the truth you want Carla to understand. Approach her with compassion, sharing your own struggles and how Christ has helped you. Ephesians 2:8 tells us that salvation is through faith, a gift from God. Pray for opportunities to share your testimony in ways that resonate with her. Let’s pray: Lord, give Liam boldness and wisdom as he navigates this conversation with Carla. May Your truth shine through him, drawing her to You. Amen.
