Ecclesiastes 9:11 reminds us, 'The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding; nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.' This verse echoes the reality that sometimes outcomes are beyond our control, despite our best efforts. Remember, Deuteronomy 8:18 tells us that it is God who gives us the ability to produce wealth, and that promise remains even when we face setbacks. Trust that the Lord has a plan for your future—Philippians 4:19 assures us that God will supply all our needs.
