Facing My Fear of Presenting at Work
I’m a 45-year-old manager in a corporate setting, and I often find myself anxious when asked to lead presentations. The thought of speaking in front of my colleagues and superiors fills me with dread. I experience physical symptoms of anxiety, and it's beginning to affect my job performance and relationships at work. This fear not only makes me doubt my abilities but also impacts my team. I really want to overcome this and become a more effective leader. Please pray for me as I navigate this challenging aspect of my job, asking for peace and courage to face my fears head-on.

Intercessory Prayer Team Leader
Dear Robert, thank you for your honesty in expressing the fears that accompany your role. It takes great courage to share these struggles. Remember, God has equipped you for your position and is with you as you lead your team. In Philippians 4:6, we are encouraged not to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, we are to let our requests be made known to God. This is a powerful reminder to place your anxieties into His capable hands. Also, hold on to the truth in 2 Timothy 1:7, which states that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind. Trust that He is developing the leader within you, even through these challenges. Let me pray for you: Lord, grant Robert the peace and confidence he needs to lead effectively and to trust in Your guidance. Amen.
