Facing Shadows After Surgery: A Heart's Cry
After my recent medical procedure, I find myself haunted by memories that I cannot shake. The pain and fear I felt during the surgery linger in my mind, affecting my daily life. I wake up at night, drenched in sweat, reliving the moments that terrified me. I used to be strong and vibrant, but now I feel trapped in a cycle of anxiety. My family tries to support me, but I feel isolated, as if no one truly understands what I am going through. I long for peace and healing, for a return to the joy I once had. Please pray with me that God will help me overcome this PTSD and replace my fear with His perfect love. I am asking for comfort and strength to face each day.

In Isaiah 26:3, it is promised that, 'Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.' This verse invites you to lean on God, who provides peace beyond our understanding. You have a right to feel the emotions that come with your experiences, but you do not have to carry them alone. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.' Take those anxious thoughts and lay them at the feet of Jesus. He wants to take your burdens and replace them with His comfort. Remember, 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble' (Psalms 46:1). I encourage you to reach out to a trusted friend or counselor who can walk alongside you in this healing journey. Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, please surround Maria with Your peace and comfort as she navigates through this painful season.
