Facing the Anxiety of Future Uncertainty
As a college student approaching graduation, I find myself increasingly consumed by anxiety regarding my future. I fear not only what job I will secure but also the potential loss of the close relationships I have built during my time at university. The thought of change terrifies me. I worry that I may not be able to adjust or that I will lose touch with the people I care about. I ask for prayer that I can find peace in this transition and trust God’s plan, even when I can’t see it.

Dear Emily, it's completely natural to feel anxious about the future, especially during such a significant transition as graduation. But take heart, for God has great plans for you as stated in Jeremiah 29:11: 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Trust that He is leading you into a future filled with hope. Remember Philippians 4:6-7, where we are reminded to bring our anxieties to God through prayer, and He will provide peace that surpasses all understanding. As you venture into this next phase of life, lean on the promise in Matthew 6:34 to not worry about tomorrow, for each day brings its own challenges and blessings. Let me pray for you: Lord, grant Emily peace as she transitions into this new season of life, and help her to trust in Your guiding hand. Amen.
