Facing the Pain of Miscarriage Alone
I recently went through a miscarriage, and it’s been one of the loneliest experiences of my life. I feel like no one around me understands the depth of my sorrow. I want to be strong for my partner, but inside I feel broken and alone. I’ve been trying to put on a brave face, but every day is a struggle. I pray for healing and for the strength to vocalize my pain instead of keeping it bottled up inside.

Dear Sophie, I want to acknowledge the immense weight of the pain you are feeling right now. A miscarriage can leave a deep ache in the heart, and it is entirely normal to feel a mix of emotions. You are not alone in this. God knows your heart’s cries and is especially close to those who are dealing with grief. In Psalm 30:5, it says, 'Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.' Though today feels heavy, hold onto the hope that joy and healing will come. I encourage you to find gentle ways to express your feelings, whether through journaling, art, or opening up to someone you trust. Your feelings are valid, and sharing them can bring a sense of relief. Remember, in 2 Corinthians 1:4, that God comforts us in all our troubles, and He can use your experience to help others who are also hurting. I will pray for healing and peace to fill your heart as you navigate this journey.
