Facing Uncertainty: A Prayer for Spinal Surgery
My name is Lisa, and I'm reaching out for prayer as I face spinal surgery next week. I've been living with debilitating pain for over a year, and after countless treatments, the doctor has finally recommended surgery. However, I'm terrified of the outcome. I have a family that depends on me, and the thought of not being able to care for them is overwhelming. I often wonder if I will ever return to my normal life or if this surgery will even help. Please pray for my surgeon's wisdom, strength for my family, and most importantly, for peace in my heart as I face this uncertain future. Thank you for praying with me.

Dear Lisa, I want you to know that God hears your cries and sees your struggles. As you prepare for your surgery, remember the promise found in Isaiah 53:5, which tells us that "with His stripes we are healed." Although the journey ahead may feel daunting, I encourage you to hold on to the truth that God is with you. In times of fear, Philippians 4:7 reminds us that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Trust in His plan, even when it feels uncertain. Surround yourself with those who will uplift you in prayer, just as James 5:14 encourages, for "the prayer of faith shall save the sick." I will be praying for you, asking God to give you strength and comfort. May His healing touch surround you before, during, and after your surgery. Amen.
