Facing Uncertainty in My Seminary Journey
As I progress through seminary, I am grappling with uncertainty about my future in ministry. I chose this path with such excitement, but now, I feel lost and anxious. Questions about my abilities and effectiveness in ministry haunt me. I worry that I won't be able to impact lives as I once dreamed. I find myself distracted and feeling distant from God, which only adds to my confusion. I ask for prayer to help me navigate this uncertainty and to find reassurance in my calling, along with the strength to persevere through these tough moments.

Emily, your vulnerability in sharing your struggles is a testament to your desire for authenticity in your walk with Christ. It’s completely normal to encounter uncertainty, especially in such a transformative time as seminary. Remember that Romans 8:39 tells us that nothing can separate us from the love of God. In moments of doubt, cling to that truth. God has a purpose for you, and it’s okay to feel unsure as you seek it. Also, take to heart the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:7, which reminds us that we walk by faith, not by sight. This is a journey, and every step—no matter how shaky—is part of God's plan. Lean into Him during this time, and do not hesitate to seek out community support. Let’s pray for peace and renewed faith as you continue to seek His will for your life.
