Facing Uncertainty in the Journey of Faith
Dear Pastor Linda, I'm a young adult trying to navigate my faith journey, but I often feel lost. I doubt whether my belief in heaven is grounded enough. I hear people talk confidently about their faith, but I often wonder if I'm truly saved or if I will make it to heaven when my time comes. This uncertainty often weighs heavily on my spirit, leading me to question everything I thought I knew about God. I need prayer for clarity and strength to deepen my faith and truly embrace the hope of eternal life.

Dear Jordan, I appreciate your honesty and know that many experience similar doubts on their faith journey. It's important to remember that faith itself is a journey – one that grows and deepens over time. Hebrews 11:1 tells us that "faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." You’re not alone in this process; God desires for us to seek Him earnestly. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Embrace the journey with God; ask Him for wisdom, as stated in James 1:5, and trust that He will guide your path. Let’s pray together: Father, I pray for Jordan’s faith journey. May he find assurance in Your promises and grow in love and trust towards You. Amen.
