Faith Tested by Financial Hardship
Hi Pastor Elizabeth, I'm reaching out because my family and I are currently in a really tough spot financially. My husband works tirelessly in ministry but is often underpaid, and it's taking its toll on our family life. We're struggling to keep up with bills, and I can see the stress in my children's eyes, which breaks my heart. I feel like we’re doing everything we can, yet the end seems so far away. I'm seeking prayer for a breakthrough, for God to provide for our needs, and for the strength to support my husband during this time. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Maria, I hear your heart, and I want you to know that God understands your struggles and cares deeply for your family. When we face financial challenges, it can feel like our faith is being tested, but remember that Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good to them that love God. Your husband’s ministry is valuable in God's sight, and He will not let your family down. In Ecclesiastes 9:11, we learn that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong, emphasizing that God's timing is perfect. Keep trusting Him, and lean on His promises. I will pray for the provision your family needs and for you to find peace amidst the chaos. Trust that He is working behind the scenes for your good.
