Faithfully Praying for My Best Friend's Salvation
Hi, my name is Keisha, and for the last 15 years, I have been married to a wonderful man, but I’m deeply troubled about my best friend, Laura. Despite knowing her for years, she has always been skeptical of the Christian faith. I’ve tried to share my beliefs, but she often laughs it off. I love Laura dearly and wish she could know the joy and hope that comes with salvation. There are moments when she expresses curiosity, and I hold onto those as signs of hope. I believe that God desires everyone to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4), and I am asking for prayer that she will have a transformative encounter with Jesus. Please pray that I will have the courage to share my faith in a way that resonates and that her heart will be soft enough to receive His love. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Keisha, thank you for sharing your heart regarding your friendship with Laura. It is clear that your love for her is genuine and that you desire for her to experience the fullness of life in Christ. It’s natural to feel apprehensive when sharing your faith, especially with those we care about deeply. Remember, God is the ultimate architect of faith. As Romans 3:23 reminds us, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God," we all need God’s grace to come to Him. Pray that God will give you the right words to say and the right moments to share your faith authentically. It may be beneficial to invite her to experience Christian community events where she can see the impact of faith in action. Trust that God is working in her heart even when you cannot see it. I will join you in praying for Laura, that she may have a genuine revelation of Christ’s love and truth. May God bless you with wisdom and courage as you navigate this journey with your friend. In Jesus' name, Amen.
