Fearing My Best Friend's Eternal Fate
My best friend, Mia, has been battling a terminal illness, and it breaks my heart to see her suffer. We have shared so much over the years, but when it comes to faith, she has always been skeptical. I have tried to introduce her to Jesus, but she often brushes it off with jokes or disbelief. As her condition worsens, I am consumed with worry about her eternal fate. I genuinely care for her soul, and I'm praying that God would open her heart before it’s too late. I ask for prayers that God would lead me in how to speak to her and that her heart would be softened to receive Him. I just want her to know the love and hope found in Christ.

Dear David, I’m so sorry to hear about Mia and the struggles you both are facing during this challenging time. Your heart for your friend is truly beautiful, and it reflects Christ's love for us. It's understandable to feel anxious about her salvation, particularly when we see loved ones in distress. Remember that God desires for all to come to Him, as expressed in Ezekiel 18:23, 'Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?' Trust that God is at work in Mia's heart, even when it feels like she's resistant. Engage her with love and patience, allowing her to see the hope you possess in Christ. Acts 4:12 reminds us that 'Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.' I encourage you to pray for divine opportunities to share this truth and for her heart to be receptive to it. I will keep you both in my prayers, asking God to give you the strength and wisdom you need as you navigate this time.
