Feeling Alone in My Calling for Justice
I’m a 45-year-old Hispanic man, and for years, I've felt a strong calling to advocate for justice and love in our community. However, I’ve noticed that my own church often remains silent about racial issues. Recently, I shared my concerns during a small group meeting, and the response was tepid. I left feeling frustrated and unsupported, questioning if I’m truly heard by my faith community. I’ve seen so much hurt in the world and believe that as Christians, we are called to be the light in these dark times. I am asking for prayer to strengthen my resolve and help me find ways to communicate these issues with love and grace. Pray that the Holy Spirit stirs a desire for justice in our congregation.

Grief and Healing Ministry
Dear Javier, thank you for your heartfelt message. I commend you for your passion and willingness to stand for justice. It is indeed challenging when our own communities do not reflect the urgency of these issues. The Bible tells us, 'Be still, and know that I am God' (Psalms 46:10). In moments of frustration, remember that God is sovereign and working in ways we may not always see. Your calling to advocate for justice aligns with His heart, and you are not alone in this mission. Remember, 'Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen' (Hebrews 11:1). Keep praying, keep speaking, and seek out others in your church who may share your passion. I will pray for clarity and conviction in your approach, and may God guide your heart and open doors for conversations that bring light to these important issues.
