Feeling Disheartened After Business Setbacks
I’ve faced several setbacks with my retail business, and it culminated in having to close my doors recently. I feel like I’ve let my family down and am overwhelmed with worry about our finances. Each day is filled with anxiety about how to make ends meet. I’ve been wrestling with feelings of inadequacy and fear of the future. I desperately want to find a way to provide for my family again, but I feel lost. I would appreciate prayers for strength and a sense of direction as I try to navigate this uncertain time in my life.

Dear Sophia, thank you for your honesty in sharing your struggles. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed when things don’t go as planned, especially when our families are involved. But remember, God has promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Your worth is not defined by your business or financial status, but by your identity in Christ. Lean into Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:6). In times of difficulty, remember that God has great things planned for you, even if they don’t seem clear right now. Let's pray: Lord, I lift up Sophia to You. May she find strength in You and clarity in her next steps. Provide for her and her family during this challenging time. Amen.
