Feeling Lost After College Graduation
Hello, I'm Daniel, and I graduated from college last year with a degree in engineering. I felt so excited and hopeful during my studies, believing that I would land a great job and start building a life. However, I find myself working part-time at a retail store, struggling to pay my bills, and drowning in student debt. My degree hasn’t opened the doors I expected, and I feel like I've let everyone down—my family, my friends, and myself. Every day feels like a reminder of my failure. Please pray for me to regain my confidence and find a job that matches my skills. I want to feel purposeful and find peace amid this chaos.

Dear Daniel, thank you for expressing what is on your heart. It's disheartening to feel like your hard work isn’t yielding the results you anticipated. But hold onto this truth: God has a plan for your life, even when it feels uncertain. In Romans 8:28, we learn that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. He is weaving your experiences into a beautiful tapestry, even if it’s hard to see right now. Remember, Colossians 3:23 encourages us that whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. Keep pressing forward, and don’t lose heart; your breakthrough might be just around the corner. Let’s pray: God, I lift Daniel up to you, asking for encouragement, wisdom, and a path that leads him to fulfilling employment. Amen.
