Feeling Lost After My Freelance Work Dried Up
Dear friends, I come to you with a heavy heart. As a freelance graphic designer, I've always loved creating beautiful things for my clients. However, my income has suddenly collapsed due to a series of unexpected changes in the market. I fear I have no safety net to fall back on. The bills are piling up, and I feel overwhelmed with anxiety about my future. I had hoped this would be a stable career, but now I am questioning everything. I find myself waking up each day with a knot in my stomach, unsure of how I will make ends meet. I am asking for your prayers, that I may regain my footing and find new opportunities while trusting in God's provision during this challenging time.

Dear Emily, thank you for sharing your heartfelt request with us. It’s completely understandable to feel anxious in times of uncertainty. Remember, the Lord is your Shepherd, and He knows your needs even before you ask (Matthew 6:8). In Philippians 4:19, we are reminded that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Your work is valuable, and God sees your efforts. This season may feel like a storm, yet even in the storms, let us hold onto the promise that God is with us (Isaiah 41:10). I encourage you to take this time to seek God's direction through prayer and Scripture. Reflect on His Word, as Joshua 1:8 instructs us to meditate on it day and night. I will be praying for you, trusting that God will open new doors and provide for you in ways you might not expect. May you find peace in His presence.
