Feeling Lost After My Mentor's Passing
Dear God, today I come to You feeling utterly lost and orphaned after the death of my spiritual mentor, Mrs. Helen. She was more than just a mentor; she was my friend, confidant, and a beacon of Your light in my life. Without her guidance, I feel abandoned and unsure of how to pray or seek You. I keep hearing her voice encouraging me to grow in faith, yet I feel paralyzed by grief. How do I move forward in my spiritual journey without her? Lord, I ask for clarity, strength, and the ability to carry the lessons she taught me as I navigate this difficult time. Please help me feel Your presence, reminding me that I’m never truly alone. Amen.

Dear Samuel, I hear your cry for help, and it's important to acknowledge how deeply the loss of Mrs. Helen has impacted you. Losing someone who has shaped our spiritual walk can create a profound sense of disconnection. However, remember the promise found in Revelation: 'And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death' (Revelation 21:4). Your mentor's love and influence live on within you. It’s natural to feel uncertain and even broken at this moment, but know that you are not abandoned, as God is always by your side. In the midst of grief, lean on what you learned from her, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. Pray often, even if it's simply sharing your feelings with God. He understands your sorrow and is your refuge in these times. Allow Him to guide you through this season of grief, and remember that your mentor’s legacy is intertwined with your journey. I will keep you in my prayers, Samuel, as you seek healing and strength.
