Feeling Lost After My Sister's Suicide
I lost my sister to suicide just a month ago, and I am completely heartbroken. I feel so confused and angry with her, but also with myself. I keep thinking about how I could have been there for her more. It's hard to process the reality that she's gone forever. I’m also experiencing moments of deep sadness, yet at other times, I feel numb. I need prayer to help me navigate this overwhelming grief and to find a way to honor my sister’s memory without being consumed by sorrow.

Dear Nina, my heart aches for your loss. Losing a loved one in such a tragic way can leave us grappling with intense emotions. It’s natural to feel anger and confusion alongside grief. Remember, in this painful time, you are not without hope. The Lord promises that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). He understands your pain and invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your sister’s memory is precious, and it’s okay to grieve while also celebrating the love you shared. Surround yourself with friends and family who can support you. God’s love can heal the wounds of our hearts (Psalm 147:3). I pray that you find moments of peace and comfort in His presence, and that He guides you as you remember your sister. Amen.
