Feeling Stuck After a Job Layoff
Hi, I’m Tom. I recently lost my job due to company downsizing, and it has left me feeling anxious and uncertain about the future. I had dedicated years to this position, believing that it was where God wanted me to be, and now I feel like I've hit a dead end. My family relies on my income, and the thought of not being able to provide for them weighs heavily on me. I’ve been seeking God’s direction but feel lost and overwhelmed. Please pray for me to find a new job that fulfills my family’s needs and allows me to use my skills to serve others. I also pray for peace during this difficult time.

Grief and Healing Ministry
Dear Tom, I can sense the weight of your circumstances, and I want you to know that you are not alone. God cares deeply about your situation and has not forgotten you. In Ecclesiastes 9:11, we are reminded that 'the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding; nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.' This teaches us that life can be unpredictable, but God is still in control. I encourage you to keep your heart open to new opportunities, as God can often provide in ways we least expect. Remember Colossians 3:23, which tells us, 'And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.' Approach your job search with this mindset, and trust that God is working behind the scenes for your good. I am praying for you, Tom, that God will bring forth the right opportunity and grant you peace as you navigate this season.
