Financial Struggles Impacting My Marriage
Hi, I am Sarah, and I am reaching out for prayer as my husband and I navigate a tough time. My workplace is on strike, and we have been living on savings for weeks. The financial strain is affecting our relationship, and I fear that without intervention, it could harm our marriage. I ask for prayers that we both keep open communication and trust in God's provision. We need wisdom to manage our finances and to keep our love alive despite the stress. Dear Sarah, thank you for opening your heart to us during this challenging season. It’s completely normal for financial stress to impact relationships but it’s commendable that you seek prayer and guidance. Remember that God is the source of our strength and provision. As it says in Colossians 3:23, 'And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.' When you put God at the center of your marriage, you'll find the support you need. Also, I want to remind you of Proverbs 22:29, 'Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.' Diligence and faith will lead to blessings. I encourage you both to lean on each other and trust in God's timing. Let’s pray: Lord, I ask for Your peace and provision for Sarah and her husband. Help them strengthen their bond and overcome these financial difficulties together. Amen.
