Finding Assurance Through Faith After Crisis
My name is Anita, and I'm a 38-year-old single mother. I went through a life-changing car accident last year, which left me physically injured and emotionally scarred. I constantly feel on edge, worrying that something else could happen to me or my children. Each day is a battle against this fear that grips my heart, making it hard to focus at work and truly enjoy the little moments with my kids. I feel exhausted and am pleading for prayers to help me find strength and assurance in God’s protection, allowing me to live freely without the heavy cloak of anxiety.

Dear Anita, thank you for your honesty and for sharing your story. It’s understandable to experience fear after such a traumatic event, but I want to remind you that God is always with you. He assures us in Romans 8:15 that we have not received a spirit of fear but of adoption as His children. Trusting in Him brings comfort amidst chaos. Remember to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). He is your refuge, and you can find solace in His presence (Psalm 91:1). As you navigate through this anxiety, I encourage you to lean into God's Word, which brings hope and healing. I will keep you in my prayers, asking God to wrap you and your children in His protective love and peace. You are not alone in this journey.
