Finding Community After Changes in Health
My name is Esther, and I am requesting prayer. After being diagnosed with a permanent health issue, I feel incredibly lonely and disconnected from my friends and community. It seems that people don’t understand what I am going through, and I often feel like a burden. I long to find a support group where I can share my feelings and experiences with others who understand. I pray for healing—both physically and emotionally—and for connections with people who can walk alongside me during this difficult time. I want to accept my situation but also be able to share my journey with others who can relate. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Esther, I am so sorry to hear about your struggles. Loneliness can be a heavy burden, but remember that you are never truly alone. God promises us that ‘He will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away’ (Revelation 21:4). It’s wonderful that you desire to connect with others; I encourage you to reach out to local churches or groups focused on health challenges. God has placed people in your life, even if it might not seem like it now. His peace will guard your heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Let us pray together: 'Heavenly Father, guide Esther to the support she needs and comfort her in this time of loneliness. Amen.'
