Finding Community Support for Veteran Families

🙏486 people praying
·Anonymous·April 1, 2026

As a military family, we often feel isolated, especially as my husband deals with PTSD. It has caused a rift between us and made it hard to connect with others who don’t understand our struggles. I am praying for God to lead us to a community of support where we can feel welcomed and understood. We need encouragement from fellow believers who have walked this path. I hope to find friends who can walk alongside us in this journey, sharing our burdens and joys. Please pray for us to find that connection and for our faith to be strengthened during this season of uncertainty.

Dear Jordan, it's commendable that you are seeking community during such a challenging time. It’s vital for military families to connect with others who understand their unique struggles. God calls us to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2), and having a supportive community can provide the encouragement you need. I encourage you to reach out to your church or local veterans' organizations, as they can be great resources. Ephesians 4:32 reminds us to be kind to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave you. Your desire to find friendship and support reflects the heart of community. Let’s pray for divine connections to be made, and for you and your husband to find strength in shared faith and experiences. Heavenly Father, guide Jordan and their family to find the support they seek, and bring them into a community where they feel embraced and loved. Amen.
