Finding Forgiveness for Past Choices
Heavenly Father, I come before you today as a man weighed down by the choices I made in my youth. Years ago, I made the difficult decision to terminate a pregnancy, believing I was acting in my best interest. However, I can’t shake the guilt that creeps into my mind every day. I often think about what could have been and wonder if I’ll ever be able to forgive myself. I know that I am forgiven through Your grace, but I struggle to accept that truth in my heart. Please pray for me that I can release this burden, embrace my forgiveness, and find peace. I seek healing from this guilt that has held me captive for so long.

Dear Marcus, thank you for trusting us with your heart. The weight of guilt can be crippling, but I want you to know that God’s grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not alone in your feelings; many have walked this path and found healing through Christ. Remember, your past does not define your future. In Psalm 30:5, we read, 'Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.' It’s important to allow yourself to experience this grief while also recognizing that God offers you a fresh start. Perhaps consider joining a support group where you can share your story and find healing in community. Together, we can pray: Lord, I lift Marcus up to You. Help him to understand the depth of Your forgiveness and to release the guilt that has burdened him for too long. Grant him peace and a renewed sense of joy. Amen.
