Finding Hope After Losing Family in War
I am a Syrian refugee who has lost my entire family to the devastation of war. Each day is a struggle to cope with the absence of my loved ones, and the memories haunt me. I often feel overwhelmed by grief, and it's hard to see a future filled with hope. The trauma of what I’ve witnessed weighs heavily on my heart. I fervently seek prayers for healing from this pain and for the ability to move forward. I long to find a sense of purpose in this new land and to honor my family's memory through my life here. Please pray that I can find peace amidst this chaos.

Dear Hassan, my heart aches for the loss you've endured. War has taken so much from you, and it’s understandable that you would feel lost. The Lord sees all your tears, and in Psalm 34:18, it says, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.' Your heart is precious to Him, and He wants to mend it. Remember also the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:4, that God comforts us in all our tribulations, so that we may comfort others. Your experiences, though painful, can shine a light for those who are suffering. Allow yourself to grieve, but also seek ways to build a new community around you. God still has a purpose for your life, even in the darkness. Let us pray: Lord, I ask that You bring comfort to Hassan's heart and guide him toward healing and purpose in this new beginning.
