Finding Hope Amidst Caregiver Exhaustion
As a wife and now a caregiver to my husband who had a stroke, I feel completely overwhelmed. Each day is a challenge as I see him struggle with basic tasks, and my heart aches for the man he used to be. I’m exhausted and finding it hard to maintain my faith. I need prayers for rejuvenation, both physically and emotionally. I want to be strong for him, but I can’t help feeling burdened by the weight of this new reality. I pray for God’s healing touch on him and for my heart to remain hopeful.

Dear Angela, thank you for sharing your struggles with us. It is completely natural to feel overwhelmed in such circumstances. God understands your burdens and cares deeply for both you and your husband. As you care for him, remember Matthew 11:28, where Jesus invites us to come to Him when we are weary. He offers rest for our souls, which is something you desperately need right now. I encourage you to lean into prayer and Scripture during these tough times. Psalm 103:3 tells us that the Lord forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. Trust in His healing power for both of you. Let’s pray together: Lord, grant Angela the strength and hope she needs while caring for her husband. Heal them both emotionally and physically. In Your precious name, amen.
