Finding Hope in a Family Business Crisis
Hi, my name is Maria. I run a small family-owned restaurant that has been in our family for generations, but lately, we have been struggling to keep it open. The rising costs of supplies and decreased customer flow have made it hard to survive. It pains me to think of losing something that has been part of my family’s legacy. I pray for wisdom in navigating these challenges and for the strength to make tough decisions. I hope to find a way to turn things around, not just for my own sake but for my parents and my children. Please pray for us to find favor and provision in these trying times.

Dear Maria, I empathize with your situation and understand how deeply your family business means to you. It’s a significant part of your heritage. As you face these challenges, remember, 'The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it' (Proverbs 10:22). This encourages us to seek God’s guidance in our endeavors. Keep your heart aligned with His purpose as you navigate this crisis. God may be using this time to mold you and prepare you for a new chapter. 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant' (Matthew 25:21) is a reminder of the value of perseverance and faithfulness in trials. I will pray for renewed hope and innovative ideas to help your restaurant thrive.
