Finding Hope in a Sea of Financial Anxiety
I’m Angela, a 27-year-old recent college graduate living with a disability. I have been actively searching for work, but my condition limits my options, and I often feel invisible to employers. The pressure to pay my student loans and contribute to my household is daunting. I feel like I'm drowning in anxiety, especially when I attend networking events. My family is supportive, but I still carry this heavy burden. Please pray for me to remain hopeful and for God to guide me to the right job opportunity that fits my abilities. I want to trust that He has a plan for my life.

Dear Angela, I want to encourage you in your journey. The feelings you have are valid, and it's important to acknowledge them. Psalm 34:18 tells us, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' You are not alone in your struggles. God sees you and the dreams you are striving to achieve. Remember that every opportunity, big or small, is part of His greater plan for you. Luke 16:10 reminds us, 'He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.' Even in your current state, trust that God is preparing you for something greater. It's okay to ask for help when you need it and to lean on your support system. I am praying for you to find peace amidst your anxiety and that God will clearly direct your path in employment opportunities that align with your skills. Stay hopeful, my dear.
