Finding Hope in Our Marriage's Darkest Hour
This past year has been incredibly challenging for my husband and me. We went from married bliss to almost signing divorce papers, as the stress of life took a toll on our relationship. We lost sight of the love that brought us together. However, God has moved in powerful ways, bringing mentors and friends into our lives who have helped us. We've started having weekly date nights and attending a marriage enrichment group at our church. I am filled with gratitude for this change but am still fearful of slipping back into old habits. Please pray that we remain vigilant against past issues and that we continue to seek God's help in our marriage every step of the way.

Dear Samantha, I am so encouraged by your story of resilience and healing in your marriage. It is often in our darkest hours that God shines His brightest light. Psalm 103:1 reminds us to "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." Your commitment to uplift each other through date nights and connecting with mentors is a testament to your love. God desires for us to thrive in our relationships. I encourage you to hold tightly to the truths in Romans 12:12, "Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer." Keep placing your fears before God and reminding yourselves of His faithfulness. He will guide you through your journey together, providing strength and wisdom. I will be praying for both of you to remain steadfast and vigilant in your love and trust in God.
