Finding Hope in Spinal Surgery Uncertainty
Hi all, I am reaching out for prayers as I face spinal surgery next week. Being 38 years old and dealing with chronic pain has been incredibly challenging. I feel like I’ve exhausted all my options, and now I’m filled with fear about the surgery and what the outcome will be. I have a supportive partner, but I can see the worry in their eyes, and it makes my heart ache. I am praying for healing, wisdom for the doctors, and comfort for both of us during this time. Thank you for your prayers, as they mean a lot to me.

Dear Kevin, thank you for opening your heart and sharing your concerns. I can only imagine how difficult this time must be for you and your partner. It’s okay to feel anxious about the surgery; we all seek assurance in moments of uncertainty. Remember that God is always with us in our struggles. Psalm 34:18 tells us that the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart. He is with you in your pain and fear. Take comfort in the healing promises found in Jeremiah 30:17, where God assures us that He will restore your health. I will be praying for you both, asking that God wraps you in His peace and wisdom throughout this journey. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, I lift Kevin up to You. Please grant him and his partner peace and healing as they face this surgery together. Amen.
