Finding Hope in the Midst of Family Turmoil
Hi, I’m Sarah. I need prayers for my husband, whose addiction has turned our home into a battleground. The constant fighting and uncertainty are taking a toll on our two children. They deserve better, and I feel like I’m losing hope. I want to support my husband, but I also need to shield my kids from the chaos. Each day is a struggle as I try to hold everything together, but I am beginning to feel overwhelmed. I am praying for guidance on how to help my husband while ensuring my children feel safe and loved. Please pray for healing for him and peace for our family.

Dear Sarah, thank you for your honesty in sharing your journey. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy burden, and your love for your husband and your children is evident in your words. Addiction can lead to pain and turmoil, but remember that God is still present in your midst. In Psalms 30:5, we are reminded that 'weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.' Take heart in knowing that hope is always within reach through Christ. We must often lean into prayer and seek God’s strength when we feel weak (2 Corinthians 12:9). I encourage you to lean on your church community for support during this time and create a safe space for your children. I will be praying for healing and restoration for your husband and for the peace that surpasses all understanding to fill your home. God is faithful, and He hears your cries.
