Finding Hope in Unpredictable Gig Work
I'm Javier, and I'm a delivery driver. While I appreciate the flexibility of my job, the constant ups and downs of income are stressing me out. I have bills piling up, and I feel like I'm caught in a cycle of anxiety about money. I often doubt my decisions and wonder if I should consider a more traditional job. I want to find peace and hope in this situation but struggle to see a way out. Please pray for my faith to strengthen and for clear direction in my life, whether that means staying in this work or seeking something different.

Dear Javier, thank you for sharing your concerns with us. It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed in such uncertain circumstances. The Lord is aware of your situation. 'Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you' (1 Peter 5:7) reminds us to bring our burdens to Him. It can be challenging to see the bigger picture when we’re in the thick of it, but God is faithful. 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God' (Romans 8:28). As you pray for direction, seek out the avenues God may be opening for you. Sometimes our paths are clearer when we stay connected to our community and the support around us. I will pray with you for clarity and peace, trusting that God will guide your steps and provide for your needs. May you find comfort in His presence during this time.
