Finding Hope When Home Feels Unsafe
I am reaching out for prayer because my husband is battling addiction. It has turned our home into a place of fear for our children. I’m at a breaking point, trying to be the strong one for our little ones, but it’s exhausting. Every day I deal with the uncertainty of his behavior and how it impacts our kids. I want them to feel safe and loved, but the atmosphere is heavy with tension. I ask for prayers for his recovery and for our home to be restored to a place of peace. I also seek strength to face each day with hope. Thank you for your prayers.

Dear Michael, thank you for opening your heart and sharing your burden. Life can feel incredibly heavy when addiction enters the family. I want to encourage you with the truth from Hebrews 13:4, which reminds us that God honors marriage and desires purity within it. Your prayer for your husband’s recovery is powerful, and we know that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). He loves your family and wants to see it restored. As you face each day, remember Ruth 1:16, where Ruth committed herself to Naomi, showing us the beauty of loyalty and love in challenging times. Let us pray together for God's intervention and healing for your family. Lord, please wrap Your arms around Michael and his children, and guide his husband towards recovery and restoration. Amen.
