Finding My Identity After the Split
In the past, I defined so much of my identity through my marriage. Now that I’m divorced, I feel lost and confused about who I am. My ex-husband always supported my dreams, and without that support, I feel like I’m floundering. I want to rediscover myself and rely on God’s purpose for my life, but it’s so hard when I feel like a part of me is missing. I’m asking for prayers as I seek clarity and a renewed sense of identity in Christ.

Grief and Healing Ministry
Dear Maria, thank you for sharing your heart with us. It is a challenging journey to redefine oneself after such a significant change. Remember that your identity is ultimately rooted in Christ, and He has an incredible purpose for you. As it states in John 11:25, 'Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.' Even in this season of loss, you have the opportunity to be resurrected into a new understanding of who you truly are. God is not done with you; He has plans for your future that might be richer and more fulfilling than you can currently imagine. I encourage you to meditate on 2 Corinthians 1:4, where we are reminded that God comforts us in our troubles so that we can comfort others. Seek His guidance in prayer, and allow Him to unveil the new chapter of your life. I am praying that God brings clarity and strength as you embark on this journey of self-discovery.
