Finding My Strength as Long COVID Persists
Hi, I’m Sarah, a 34-year-old mother of two who has been battling long COVID for several months now. It began with fatigue and brain fog, but as time has gone on, I face daily excruciating headaches and joint pain that make it hard to care for my children. I feel like I'm losing my ability to be the mom they need. Some days, I can’t even get out of bed. I’ve been praying for healing, but it feels like the weight of this illness is too much to bear. I find hope in my faith, but I need prayer for the strength to keep going, for healing in my body, and for peace in my heart as I navigate this challenging journey.

Dear Sarah, I want you to know that you are not alone in this battle. It’s understandable to feel overwhelmed by the symptoms of long COVID, but remember that God is with you in your suffering. In Jeremiah 30:17, it says, 'For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds.' This promise encourages us that God is actively working for your healing. You mentioned feeling lost and fatigued, and I pray that God’s strength will be your anchor during these times. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us to not be anxious about anything, but to present our requests to God, and His peace will guard our hearts. May you feel His loving presence envelop you. I encourage you to lean into your support system and reach out for help when needed. Let’s pray together for your healing and peace: "Lord, please bring restoration to Sarah’s body and relieve her burdens. Let her feel your strength in her weakness, and fill her heart with your peace that surpasses all understanding."
