Finding Peace After Leaving an Abusive Home
I recently left my home where I endured emotional abuse. It was a decision that required immense strength, but now I find myself in a safe environment. I am thankful for the support I've received, but I still carry the weight of sadness and insecurity from my past. While I want to celebrate my freedom, I struggle with feelings of worthlessness that linger. I am asking for prayer to find peace and confidence in who I am now as I try to heal and rebuild my sense of self.

Dear Liam, I applaud your courage in leaving an environment that was not healthy for you. The journey to healing is often filled with ups and downs, but remember that God is with you every step of the way. In Jeremiah 29:11, God assures us that His plans for us are to prosper and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future. As you work through your feelings of sadness and insecurity, keep in mind Romans 8:37, which tells us that we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Your worth is not defined by your past but by who you are in Christ. Embrace this new chapter with confidence, knowing that He has a purpose for your life. I will pray for your peace and for you to find strength in your new identity.
