Finding Peace from Anxiety in My New Job
I'm a 40-year-old woman starting a new job that involves a lot of interactions with people, and it’s making my anxiety skyrocket. The thought of being in crowded meetings and dealing with various personalities makes me anxious. I often feel overwhelmed even thinking about it. I want to do well at my job and connect with my coworkers, but my anxiety makes it hard to focus. Pray that I can find peace in this new chapter and the strength to face my fears with confidence.

Dear Linda, I applaud your courage in stepping into this new role. Change can be daunting, particularly when it challenges us to confront our fears. Remember, in Isaiah 41:10, God reassures us, 'Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.' You are not alone in this journey. God is with you, providing the strength you need. Also, Philippians 4:6 encourages us, 'be careful for nothing,' and instead, bring your worries to God in prayer. Focus on one interaction at a time, and let each small victory build your confidence. As you step into each day, pray for the peace that comes from trusting in Him. Let us seek God's guidance for you as you navigate this new path, trusting that He will help you overcome.
