Finding Peace in the Midst of Fear
As a grandparent, I feel a wave of anxiety whenever I think about my grandchild going to school. It seems like every day there are reports of violence, and I can't help but worry about their safety. I try to be a source of comfort for my family, but inside, I feel terrified. I want to trust in God's plan for my grandchild's life, but it's hard when fear looms so large. I ask for prayers to help me find peace and the ability to uplift my family, without letting my fears overwhelm us.

Dear Linda, your love for your grandchild shines through, and it’s perfectly natural to feel anxious about their safety. Grandparents often bear the weight of worries for their grandchildren, and it’s comforting to know that you are seeking God’s peace. Let’s remind ourselves of the beautiful promise that the Lord will keep us in perfect peace if our minds are stayed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). Share your heart with your family, fostering an atmosphere of love and trust in God's protection. It can be healing for them to see your faith in action as you navigate these fears together. Remember that God is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23). Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, guide Linda with your peace and surround her family with your protection. May they find strength and courage in you during these uncertain times. Amen.
