Finding Peace While Waiting for a Kidney
I’m Maria, a 34-year-old woman on dialysis, anxiously waiting for a kidney transplant. This journey has been filled with uncertainty, and I often feel overwhelmed. I pray for a sense of peace as I wait and that I might not dwell on the unknowns of my health. I wish to focus on positive thoughts and embrace the support of my family and friends. I also ask for prayers for my donors, whoever they may be, that they find the courage to step forward. Thank you for joining me in prayer during this difficult time.

Dear Maria, thank you for sharing your journey with us. It’s completely natural to feel overwhelmed during such a challenging time. I want to remind you of Matthew 11:28, where Jesus invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened. He is ready to give you the peace you seek. Remember, as you wait for your transplant, that God is working behind the scenes. You may not see it now, but He is orchestrating the perfect plan for you. Hold onto the truth from Isaiah 53:5 that by His stripes, we are healed. I encourage you to continue seeking support and prayer during your waiting period. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, we pray for Maria, that she may find peace in You as she waits for her transplant. Guide her heart and mind, and bring healing in Your time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
