Finding Purpose in God’s Ministry Plan

Recently, I have experienced a strong sense of purpose and direction in my life as I felt God calling me to assist in church administration. I was unsure about my skills and whether I could contribute significantly, but over time, I began receiving encouragement from church leadership, affirming my abilities. I have been overwhelmed with gratitude for this confirmation, as I always wanted to serve but did not know how. Now, I find joy in organizing events and supporting the church's mission. I ask for prayer that I remain humble and dedicated to this service, and that I may truly reflect God’s love through my actions in this role.

Pastor's Response

Pastor John Williams

Missions Pastor, First Baptist Church

Dear Julia, your story of finding purpose in assisting with church administration is a beautiful testament to God’s faithfulness. It’s wonderful to see how He has equipped you with the skills to serve His church. Remember, as you fulfill your calling, that God’s plans for you are good, as expressed in Jeremiah 29:11, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Your willingness to support the church’s mission is a gift to the entire community. Continue to nurture that grateful heart—'In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you' (1 Thessalonians 5:18). As you serve, may you find joy in every task, knowing you are making a difference. I will keep you in my prayers as you carry out this ministry with humility and grace, reflecting His love in all you do.
