Finding Purpose in New Career Paths
Transitioning from military life, I feel uncertain about my future career. For years, my identity was shaped by my role in the armed forces, and I’m struggling to redefine myself in a civilian role. I ask for prayers that I may discover a new purpose in my work and feel fulfilled again. I want to utilize my skills to contribute meaningfully to society, but I fear I may not find the right fit. Please pray that I remain hopeful and open to new opportunities, and that God guides me to where I need to be.

Dear Jordan, I hear your heart in this prayer request, and I want to encourage you during this challenging time. Redefining one’s identity can be a difficult journey, but remember that God is always with you. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Your experiences and skills will lead you to a fulfilling path. Keep praying and seeking God’s guidance, and don’t hesitate to reach out to those who can assist in your job search. As you continue to look for purpose, remember that your value is inherent and God-given. Let’s pray: Father, I ask that you reveal Jordan’s purpose in this new season of life and provide clear direction. Amen.
