Finding Purpose in Post-Pandemic Uncertainty
As a recent college graduate, I entered the job market during COVID-19 and since then, my dreams feel like they’ve been put on hold. The constant rejections and uncertainty have led me to question my purpose and the plans I thought God had for my life. I once had a clear vision of my future, but now I feel directionless and lost. I’m asking for prayer that I may regain clarity and confidence. I want to trust that God has a plan for me, but I need help believing it. Please pray for guidance and renewed faith as I navigate this confusing time.

Dear Ethan, thank you for your openness about this challenging season in your life. It’s completely understandable to feel lost when facing such uncertainty, especially after working hard to earn your degree. In Jeremiah 29:11, we find God’s promise that He has plans for us, plans to prosper us and give us hope and a future. This means even in our darkest moments, He is still at work, preparing a path for us. Remember that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It’s okay to be in a season of waiting; sometimes, it’s in these moments that God shapes our character and leads us to a clearer purpose. I encourage you to seek out mentorship and community during this time. Let’s pray: Lord, please provide Ethan with clarity and peace as he seeks to understand Your plan for his life. Amen.
