Finding Purpose on the Open Road
Being a long-haul truck driver has its ups and downs, but lately, I’ve been feeling a deeper yearning to make my time on the road count for something more than just a paycheck. I’ve met some hurting people at various stops who seem so lost and broken. I want to share the Gospel with them, but I often feel uncertain about how to approach these conversations. I’m asking for prayer that God would give me divine opportunities to witness and the wisdom to share His love effectively. I desire to reflect Christ’s compassion and hope in my words and actions, but I find myself hesitating. Please pray for my boldness and clarity in these moments.

Dear Samuel, your desire to reflect Christ’s love to others during your travels is truly commendable. It’s a blessing to want to make your work a mission field. Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalms 34:18). Your presence can bring comfort and hope to those who feel lost. God has called us to be His hands and feet in a world that desperately needs Him, and your openness to share the Gospel is a beautiful step toward fulfilling that call. Pray for God’s guidance as you approach conversations, and He will provide you with the right words at the right time (John 14:26). Every time you express your faith, you plant seeds of hope that can blossom into change. Trust in God’s perfect timing. Let us pray together: Lord, give Samuel the courage and wisdom to share Your love with those who need it most. Amen.
